Hot water storage tank

Hot water storage tank, buffer storage, electric boiler

This device has a different name depending on the heat source. A hot water storage tank is a container which can heat between 5 and 150 liters of water and constantly put these at the consumer’s disposal. According to the setting, the water is discharged at temperatures between 35°C and 82°C (95°F-179,6°F). The hot water storage tank is the opposite to a water heater which heats flowing water in a minimum of time to the temperature needed. The storage system is the more efficient method to put warm water at the consumer’s disposal, as the operation is more energy saving.
